Marketing Village a must visit at FIT Show
Posted on 03/04/2019
Andrew Scott, founder of Insight Data Ltd and Purplex Marketing Ltd, tells readers of Windows Active that The Marketing Village is one stand you can’t afford to miss at this year’s FIT Show.
Marketing is changing at its fastest rate in history with new technologies and a bewildering array of marketing channels now competing for customer attention.
As consumers, we’re bombarded with thousands of messages every day and amongst all this ‘noise’ it’s increasingly difficult for brands to stand out, attract customers and build sustainable growth.
That’s why we decided to host the Marketing Village, a major initiative to help visitors to the FIT Show get the best advice, support and training on business growth and the latest marketing developments and strategies.
What is The Marketing Village?
The Marketing Village is an impressive 120m2 stand space that brings together two of the biggest names in the window industry, Insight Data and Purplex Marketing, to showcase the latest marketing thinking, strategies and tools to help companies build their brand, generate leads, improve customer loyalty and create real growth.
We’ll have teams on hand to discuss marketing on a one-to-one basis as well an exclusive seminar area on our stand where we’ll run around 15 short, high-impact training sessions each day.
The Insight Data team will show visitors how to use data and direct marketing to target new customers in the trade, commercial and new-build sectors. They’ll also be holding training sessions for existing customers to help them get the most from Salestracker, our online sales and marketing platform, and will demonstrate some of our latest features and tools, such as email marketing and integrated prospect and customer credit-checking.
Specialists from the Purplex team will show business owners, managers and marketing professionals some of the latest developments in digital marketing, and host training sessions on everything from social media and pay-per-click advertising, through to building a PR campaign.
We’ll be discussing specific strategies for retail/domestic window and conservatory companies to help them generate more leads, as well as more strategic sessions for larger fabricators, component manufacturers and industry suppliers.
We know from talking to business owners, managers and marketing professionals in the industry that some companies need to learn about the latest marketing developments, while for others it’s a case of needing help to implement as they’re simply way too busy or just don’t have the resources.
Several business leaders have approached us recently about longer-term strategic planning, whether this is scaling their existing operation, launching into new markets/sectors or growing through acquisition, so I’ll be available on the stand to discuss likely opportunities within the industry.
At the same time, we recognise that many business owners want to sell or exit their business, so I’ll be available to discuss these options too. We’ve recently appointed a corporate lawyer and M&A chartered accountant to our board of directors who can offer support and advice.
The Marketing Village is on Stand R10
