Aluminium specialist celebrates record breaking year

CDW Systems is celebrating yet another record trading year, with the company posting an increase in sales of 15% between August 2015 and August 2016.
This is compared to previous twelve months up to August 2015 and follows year on year growth at the firm, for the last seven years.
Jerry Webb, Managing Director at CDW, says the increase in sales is down to its existing customer base boosting its order books and ordering more aluminium windows, doors and specialist products.
He comments: “Our customers are winning more business in the commercial and domestic markets, particularly high-end projects such as installations in restaurants and blocks of flats.
“These types of projects specify high-end aluminium products, resulting in increased sales of our sliding doors, bi-folds and VS windows. In tandem with this increased demand, we have extended our factory operating hours from 6am to 3am; and will soon also be launching a new range of products for 2016.”
CDW Systems was an early identifier of aluminium’s renaissance, especially in the high-end domestic market, and has built its product range around premium solutions specifically geared to these markets.
Later this year the company will start manufacturing Reynaers lift and slide doors, sliding doors and sliding folding doors. These are all premium products that will help installers take full advantage of the profitable opportunities aluminium offers.

“The sliding folding door system, in particular, offers significant benefits to installers. One of these is the ability to adjust the door leaves on-site, which is not only more convenient to the installer but also reduces the likelihood of remedial call backs.”
