Another high-profile installation for CDW

A brand new office block in-front of a major manufacturing hub just outside of Kings Worthy near Winchester is the latest building to have CDW Systems' market-leading EasySecure door incorporated within it.
Gloucester based Alfram, who supply a wide-range of aluminium glazing products to both the commercial and domestic sectors, worked together with CDW Systems to manufacture and install the recently launched and highly coveted EasySecure door, as the staff's main entrance door, in an office block that is behind a Garbuio Dickinson factory.
Garbuio Dickinspn is a world leader in the design and manufacture of Tobacco Processing Machinery.
As part of the project Alfram also worked together with CDW Systems to install two 57.6 metre elevations of continuous runs of curtain walling framing, with casement inserts on both sides of the building.
Altogether this resulted in an impressive 104 square metres of curtain walling across both sides of the building and the CDW Systems and Alfram project teams were delighted with the finished project.
Alfram's Managing Director Barry Newman comments: "Garbuio Dickinson is an international powerhouse that is specialists in its field. The finished project was very impressive and a great advocate for the quality and striking aesthetics of aluminium."
The development was completed on time and on-budget and represented the latest in a long-line of collaborations between the two: "CDW Systems have been supplying us for a number of years - over twenty for sure.

On the EasySecure Door itself, which is an evolution of the Sapa Stormframe door and CDW Systems' latest product innovation Barry comments: "It's a market-leading product which offers features and benefits that other similar doors don't - it's a testament to CDW as a company and is helping us win sales in these well-publicised tough times."
These features and benefits begin with the fact that any hardware can be fitted to EasySecure - including Dorma, Axim and Adams Rite - offering extended customer choice and improving security credentials, while a co-extruded bead makes the glass more secure within the door leaf. Furthermore a new one piece anti-finger trap stile designed to suit all types of exit devices without the need for a mid-rail in incorporated; whilst dual weathering all the way round the perimeter of the door minimises air and water infiltration, ensuring the product performs better for longer.
