Specialist aluminium fabricator brings new product to market

A leading specialist aluminium fabricator has brought a new product to market, as it continues to offer its customers the products and support required to win business in the growing aluminium sector.
Gloucester based CDW System is known for launching a new product each year, and its latest is Confort 160 (C160), which the fabricator has brought to market together with systems company SAPA.
Confort 160 is a high performance, thermally insulated sliding door.
Sales of aluminium sliding doors have notably increased at CDW Systems, and Managing Director Jerry Webb says the latest addition is a quality product that will help installers to continue to take advantage of the growing domestic and commercial aluminium sector.
Jerry comments: “The aluminium sector represents a huge growth market for installers and we utilise our 22 years’ experience to ensure our customers have a suite of products, and technical support, that can help them take market share and win contracts.
“Sliding doors are in demand here, which is why we’ve decided to supply this product, which is high-end and technically advanced.”
The door offers striking aesthetics and has a maximum vent weight of up to 400kg, meaning that large glazed can be achieved for a striking look.
Jerry says that the door is perfect for high-end applications, where large glass surfaces and heavy loads with minimal sightlines are required.
The door can also achieve a U value as high as 3.2, giving it high thermal performance levels.
