Legendary athlete & motivational speaker to speak at Glazing Summit Dinner

Guests at this year’s Glazing Summit Dinner will be left inspired – with legendary athlete Kriss Akabusi MBE taking to the stage to deliver a high-energy after-dinner speech as only he can.
The former Olympian is one of the most sought-after and entertaining motivational speakers around due to his experiences both on and off the track.
Thanks to his achievements of winning the 400 metre hurdles gold at the 1990 European Championships, being part of the gold medal winning 4x400 relay team at the 1991 World Championships, and amassing three Olympic medals, Kriss understands the dynamics of becoming a champion and how to perform under pressure.
After his athletics career finished, his big personality made him perfect for TV, including a full-time position as co-presenter of the BBC’s legendary Record Breakers.
For more than 20 years Kriss, who is also an accredited personal coach, has given countless keynote speeches and facilitated training workshops in the corporate arena, and works with executives and senior managers to help them identify and achieve their business goals.

The Glazing Summit Dinner will be held on Tuesday, October 18 in the Edgbaston Banqueting Suite and brings together more than 200 of the industry’s senior leaders in the glass and glazing for a champagne reception and three-course gala dinner.
