Timber specialists switch to Selecta

Bradford-based timber and PVCu specialist Alphaglaze is the latest fabricator to switch to Selecta's Advance 70 system, following fabrication and service issues with their previous PVC-u profile supplier.
A family run, 100 frame a week company, Alphaglaze has joined a growing list of fabricators who have moved to Selecta since the turn of the year and its Director Jayne Richardson comments: "We felt it was time to move on as we were having fabrication issues with our previous supplier and the level of customer service they provided just wasn't up to scratch. The switch to Advance 70 has been seamless; with the profile so user friendly and easy to fabricate we wish we'd taken the decision a long while ago."
By choosing Selecta as its profile supplier they can now also offer modern, high-performance PVCu frames that successfully compliment the timber side of their business. Something which Jane feels wasn't possible with their last system.
Jayne comments: "The Advance 70 system is a more modern and energy efficient system than the last profile we were fabricating. It's easier to manufacture 'A' rated frames for example, and the quality of the finished product gives installers more features and benefits to sell on."
