Swift Frame sets sights on net zero future with new thermal insert

Automation pioneers Swift Frame are introducing an innovative add-on that allows their self-extruded windows to offer even greater thermal efficiency.
The company’s new thermal insert – made of recycled PVCU – can now take its profile to eight chambers, significantly boosting its insulation.
This improves the product’s overall energy efficiency to a U-value of 1.2 – lower than the new 1.4 minimum required by updated Building Regulations.
It’s just one part of the company’s ongoing efforts to prepare for the net zero age – and equip its customers with a crucial competitive edge.
For example, it’s currently investigating the potential of insulating gaskets that are likely to deliver even lower U-values.
