BBI Services delivers performance improvement training programme

Posted on 19/07/2022

Business improvement specialists, BBI Services, has delivered its innovative training programme to some of the largest names in construction.

The accredited Lean Construction Practitioner Programme (LCPP) develops individuals to drive, lead and engage teams to deliver accelerated continuous improvement throughout an organisation operating in the built environment.

In this most recent programme, construction professionals from one of the UK’s biggest infrastructure projects discovered how to increase their overall efficiencies, reduce project costs and generate an excellent return on investment.

During this practical and hands-on training programme, participants were shown how to adopt the see, learn and do technique, allowing them to put everything from the sessions into practice.

This technique is guaranteed to deliver fantastic results including a 47% reduction in project hours, 35% overall productivity improvement as well as a 112% increase in achieving right first time.

Brett Blake, Training and Development Associate Director of BBI Services, said: “I have been delivering the LCPP programme for the last few years. It was great to facilitate a session with some of the biggest names in the industry, who are involved in one of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects.

“With the skills learned from the programme, delegates will be able to successfully identify opportunities to improve their own processes and make best practice, common practice. In doing so, businesses will be able to create programme certainty, improve productivity, quality and cost as well as deliver right first time, every time.

“We received incredibly positive feedback from the delegates who attended this unique training for the built environment, including the mix of delivery tactics used throughout. From undertaking e-learning and practical workshops, all participants must implement a real improvement project, in their area of work, to achieve the accreditation and generate a return on investment.

“Designed to not only improve the participant’s skills and knowledge, this programme also builds confidence so that individuals can become improvement practitioners who strive to continuously enhance every future activity.”

The LCPP programme is accredited through the Lean Competency System (LCS), a licensed service of Cardiff University, and BBI Services is an approved provider for the construction industry in the UK.
