High Wycombe architectural glazing experts Hazlemere Commercial have helped transform the head offices of a major UK construction company on the very busy Cressex Business Park in High Wycombe.

Working for office design specialists Vibe Business Interiors, Hazlemere provided an outstanding level of service as it replaced every window in the building as part of the thorough-going £1.4m renovation project.

In a short space of time – the whole refurbishment project had to be completed in just 16 weeks – Hazlemere removed 150 windows and several doors from the existing building, then replaced them with high-performance Sapa alternatives manufactured in its own High Wycombe facility in Bucks.

Hazlemere installed 153 Sapa Dualframe 75 aluminium windows, two automatic Sapa Stormframe ST2 aluminium entrance doors, and two Sapa Stormframe ST2 fire rated fire escape doors.

The company also installed a large area of Elegance 52 double-glazed curtain walling for the building’s front façade and main reception area.

As always, Hazlemere sought to minimise the ecological impact of its work on the development. All paper, cardboard and paper packaging produced during the installation was recycled. All aluminium offcuts were melted down to be reused, and all removed metal frames, spray tins and plastic cleaning bottles were taken away and processed by a specialist waste management company.

“This was a challenging but hugely rewarding project for us,” commented Hazlemere Sales Director Tony Beale. “We were up against an extremely tight deadline, and a quick and clean installation was vital if all other phases of the refurbishment were going to finish on time.”
