Leads2trade partner with Green Deal Consortia

Leads2trade partner with Green Deal Consortia

Posted on 17/12/2012

Leads2trade, the company behind the Trusted Local Suppliers network, is now officially partnered with The Green Deal Consortia.

The Green Deal Consortia is an association of businesses, Green Deal providers, utility companies and funders and investors who will be delivering the UK's Green Deal.

The founder of the organisation is Phyllis Prior-Boardman, who is an influential figure regarding Green Deal having set up the 'Great Green Deal' blog when the policy was in its infancy.

Phyllis also sits on the Department for Energy and Climate Change's round table regarding Green Deal to shape policy for the small business sector. She is also working closely with the Glass and Glazing Federation to raise awareness of Green Deal opportunities for its members.

Leads2trade recently launched its TLS Green Deal Network which will give SME installers access to Green Deal funded work and equip them with the necessary accreditations to carry out the work.

Andy Royle, who is Leads2trade's Director, comments on the partnership: "All roads lead to Phyllis when it comes to Green Deal as she is the go to authority on the subject. Our TLS Green Deal Network will give installers the opportunity to get a slice of Green Deal sanctioned work and our involvement with the Green Deal Consortia crystallises and endorses this service offering."

Phyllis comments on Leads2trade's involvement: "Partnering with the most successful lead generation network in the UK will ensure that members in the Green Deal Consortia will receive high quality, double qualified sales leads.

"This important partnership is vital in order to convert quality leads into Green Deal funded work, and act as the catalyst for stimulating the economy and creating local jobs."

Phyllis further comments on the Green Deal itself, its current status and what it will mean for the Glass and Glazing industry: "The Green Deal will open up a new market across the whole supply chain. With billions of pounds of investment, employment is set to double by 2015 with 200,000 new jobs created by 2020.

"The market potential is considerable for the Glass and Glazing industry, around 6 million households don't have double glazing in all their windows, and there are enormous opportunities for the industry to diversify into other measures such as those relating to the fabric of a building."

Leads2trade also recently launched a video which outlines what the Green Deal is and explains the company's TLS Green Deal Network and how installers can benefit from It.

Green Deal is a government backed initiative offering energy efficiency improvements to householders to reduce energy use and lower energy bills. With no upfront cost to the householder, a finance package will be repaid via a charge on an existing electricity bill over a specified period. The Green Deal 'Golden Rule' means that this additional charge will be less than the expected savings resulting from the energy efficiency improvements.

Leads2trade's core business is as the UK's number one double-qualified sales provider. They generate leads via their 800+ home improvement websites and also provide an exclusive appointment booking service which helps installers to win sales.
