Replacement Conservatory Roofs one of biggest growth opportunities

Replacement Conservatory Roofs one of biggest growth opportunities

Posted on 30/03/2017

Replacement conservatory roofs are one of the biggest growth opportunities in the glass and glazing sector and their popularity with homeowners shows no sign of slowing down.

This is the view of Andy Royle, Director of Leads2trade – which is established as the UK’s number one home improvement lead generation business.

Leads2trade generate double qualified leads for consumers looking for various home improvement products and distribute them to members in postcode areas of their choice across the UK.

Via its in-house call centre, the Leads2trade team speak to hundreds of homeowners each day, giving them a unique insight into what products are popular.

Since beginning to generate leads for replacement conservatory roofs in 2015, the number of enquiries it is generating has increased month on month -hitting a record number of over 600 in March 2017.

Director Andy Royle says most enquiries are to replace old polycarbonate roofs for solid tile and lantern style roofs.

He comments: “Despite the rocky economic conditions, homeowners want to invest in their properties and replacement conservatory roofs are in vogue. The replacement roof market is doing particularly well as consumers look to upgrade their old polycarbonate and glass roofs to solid tile.

“Homeowners want lifestyle rooms such as orangeries and extensions and will choose the performance benefits of solid tile and lantern roofs over polycarbonate and glass roofs, which can leave a room too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter.”

Andy says he encourages installers to take advantage of the product’s popularity and contact them for leads.

Leads2trade generate thousands of leads per month for companies operating in the home improvement market; with the core sectors including windows doors and conservatories, solar and heating and plumbing.

These leads are then double qualified by Leads2trade’s in-house call centre and passed onto members of its popular Trusted Local Supplier network, in postcodes of their choice.

The company has also released a Conservatory Roof Buyers’ guide, which is provided to the consumer once the lead has been qualified. This guide has key information for home owners when purchasing a conservatory roof.

Steve Hacking, Operations Director at Supalite Tiled Roof Sytems Ltd who are a Leads2trade customer, comments on the current market situation: “The replacement conservatory roof sector is indeed continuing to grow, with demand from homeowners sustained. Certainly, for us we have a strong pipeline of work going forward. It’s definitely a trend now in the UK; as homeowners look to update their conservatory and outdoor living spaces.”

On Leads2trade, Steve comments: “They are the industry leaders when it comes to providing double qualified leads for this product and we use their service when we need to top up lead volumes in certain postcodes, for our customers. The quality of leads and service they supply is what sets them apart and they have a deep knowledge of the sector and how it operates.”

Spencer Bryant, Senior Partner of Four Seasons, is another Leads2trade member and had this to say about the service.

He comments: “The quality of leads we receive from Leads2trade are as good as our own showroom walk-in ones we generate. The service they offer is excellent and a key part of our business growth strategy.”

Leads2trade is on course to achieve record revenues come the end of the year and is already 21 per cent up on the same period as last year.
