A key milestone has been reached at Midland Aluminium as Sales Administrator Jon Sammons celebrates five years with the business in 2026.

The Staffordshire-based supplier, known for its aluminium and uPVC systems, continues to build its reputation on consistency, fast turnaround and strong trade relationships .

From site work to sales support

Jon Sammons began his career in construction as a bricklayer before moving into the fenestration supply chain. His early role within the wider Affordable Windows Group saw him working in logistics, loading wagons at a depot.

In April 2021, he joined Midland Aluminium in a sales administration role. Since then, his responsibilities have expanded well beyond the original brief.

 

A role shaped by growth and trust

Over the past five years, Sammons has become a central figure within the business, contributing across multiple areas including customer service, accounts and internal processes.

He comments that the variety of the role has been a defining factor in his development, alongside the opportunity to build long-term relationships with customers.

That relationship-led approach reflects how Midland Aluminium operates as a trade supplier. Customers are not dealing with a faceless brand, but with individuals who understand their projects and requirements.

Recognition from leadership

Director Jason Wootton highlights Sammons’ contribution to the business.

He notes that Sammons has consistently shown a willingness to learn, take responsibility and support customers, all of which have had a measurable impact on day-to-day operations.

This milestone also reflects wider staff retention within the company, with several team members having been with the business for more than eight years.
