It’s time to see the light with SupaLite’s Sky Vista

It’s time to see the light with SupaLite’s Sky Vista

Posted on 08/02/2022

In recent years, homeowners have been waking up to the advances in conservatory technology. In particular how new hybrid products, which incorporate solid roofs and glass, are helping to fully transform these kinds of spaces into useable rooms, unlike their traditional counterpart.

Combining tiled roof replacements with glass creates great results for the consumer - especially for those who are craving more natural light. In fact, SupaLite’s Sky Vista is the perfect solution.

The hybrid roof system combines SupaLite’s renowned lightweight tiled roof with high-performance glazed panels, giving homeowners the unrivalled thermal performance of a SupaLite system, while also benefiting from higher levels of natural light.

“Our Sky Vista product offers consumers the best of both worlds. Bringing more natural light into the home is no doubt an attractive prospect for lots of people, so installers should be offering a hybrid product option to consumers if they’re not already,” said Steve Hacking, SupaLite’s Managing Director.

“Our kit-based roof systems are incredibly popular with our approved SupaLite fabricators and installers, and we’re confident this will continue as homeowners are looking for simple and effective ways to create more natural light in their conservatories.”

Make the most of natural light with Sky Vista

Sky Vista is an ultra-clever and advanced product which has excellent U-value properties and effective solar control. It allows homeowners to easily regulate the temperature of their conservatory while letting plenty of natural light to flow through the whole space.

Unlike traditional conservatory roofs, this hybrid technology means a conservatory can be used all year round as a pleasant livable space.

Additionally, with self-cleaning properties there’s no maintenance involved for consumers who choose the Sky Vista product.

Available in a ray of design options and colours, Sky Vista can also be configured to numerous conservatory styles including Edwardian, Victorian and Lean-to.

The product can also be used with SupaLite’s Extralight textured steel tiles, which offer exceptional strength, durability and are much faster to fit – saving installers time on site.

Following it’s launch in 2019, the Sky Vista product was developed further by SupaLite into a glazing cassette. This update means the glass units can be lifted and dropped into place, making it as easy as possible for installers.

“Fitting the glass is often where installers may lose time and money but now our glass units can be dropped into place whole. As a result, the installer will be able to spend less time on site, and improve their profit margins,” adds Steve.

Sky Vista success

Since launching just a few years ago, SupaLite has seen its fabricators and installers have great success with the Sky Vista product and this is expected to continue as more consumers are looking for ways to update and improve their conservatories.

“It’s now time for installers to offer the best hybrid roof solution to consumers and our Sky Vista product provides the perfect route to market,” said Steve.

“We’ve worked hard to develop something which not only meets consumer need but also benefits our customers. As a result, we’ve created a high-performing system which remains to be highly-desirable because its incredibly easy to manufacture and install.”
