Soaring SupaLite plans for the future with SEVEN staff promotions

SupaLite, the UK’s leading manufacturer of tiled roof systems is proud to announce a number of changes to key staff, in-line with the company’s continued success and year-on-year growth.
The Preston-based specialists are delighted to announce that SupaLite founder and respected industry figure David Watters will take up the role of Group Chairman, leaving his position as Managing Director. The new role will allow David to dedicate more time to working on specific projects and product development, along with strengthening ties with SupaLite’s nationwide trade partner network.
With this news, the team has confirmed that Operations Director, Steve Hacking has been promoted to the role of Managing Director. Steve, who is well-known to many across the industry for his years of service in both technical and operational capacities, will now take over the day-to-day management of the business.
“Both myself and the Board of Directors are thrilled to announce these staff changes which ensure we have the right people in the right roles as we continue to scale-up and as demand for our systems reaches an all-time high,” comments David Watters, SupaLite’s new Group Chairman. “I would like to congratulate Steve on his new role as Managing Director. He has been my right-hand man for many years and his hard-work, dedication and experience makes him the perfect candidate to lead this great team and ultimately take SupaLite forward.”
In addition to David and Steve, Production Director Mick Stewart is also promoted to the role of Supply Chain Director, a role which will encompass Mick’s technical duties along with new responsibilities such as overseeing purchasing and SupaLite’s overall supply chain. Alan Watters remains in his role as Technical Director but will also assume greater responsibility as he takes over day-to-day management of roof production at SupaLite HQ.
SupaLite’s staff team has also seen changes with Luke Carter taking over as Technical Manager, Cassie Watters becoming Sales and Marketing Manager and Dean Newsham succeeding Luke as Quotes and Processing Manager.
